  • Step 2 – Add Standard Pages

You can add optional extra pages which describe your course, courses, semester, services, or other products, all you like… but you need to have the core pages that all websites of high calibre have. This means:

 

  • A home page filled with keywords relating to your service.
  • An About Us page where you tell the audience your story.
  • A contact us page which adds an address and helps you to be seen in local searches.
  • A FAQ page, where you hit yet more keywords under the guise of answering questions. 

You can then add more or less pages as you see fit.

  • Step 3 – Calling in the Pros

If you want your product or service to sell, you need to hire an SEO professional. Be this a writer that has a look over what you have written, or an SEO specialist that will help your page rank higher. No matter what you want to sell are what service you have as an educator, a professional will help you sell it better than any amount of digital advertising will.

  • Step 4 – Updating and Maintaining

Google algorithms change often, but there is one consistent thing about them. They always, always, always, favour individually written, unique content. If your content is copied and pasted, you run the risk of losing business from it. Arguably worse than this, you run the risk of being sued for copyright infringement.
